We support the non-profit Lawrence Anthony Earth Organization (LAEO), an international environmental alliance founded in 2004 by world-renowned conservationist Dr. Lawrence Anthony and pioneering humanitarian Barbara Wiseman. Through education and the implementation of logical solutions, LAEO is working to enhance the health of the planet for the benefit of all life.
Its members are all motivated by a common cause: to help re-create a healthy Planet on which all life flourishes and prospers that we can be proud to pass on to future generations.
LAEO’s projects span wildlife conservation and rescue, habitat salvage and restoration, health empowerment through locating and drilling for water resources for communities in dire need, and economic enhancement of rural communities to relieve the necessity for poaching. Through the educational materials LAEO publishes, they seek to instill in people a deeper understanding that all life is interdependent, and that the decisions we all make affect the natural world, and then, in turn, circle back to affect the health of each one of us. They named this concept “Cooperative Ecology™” and their logo’s tag line says it all: “Because None Survive Alone.” In other words, all life best supports its own potential for survival when it works to enhance the survival of life around it. Raising awareness of this fundamental concept, which is the foundation of all successful living, better connects everyone with nature and is a way of getting the world to work together in better friendship and alliance.
